Robotic Clinical Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Integrate the HUGO™ RAS system into hospital settings.

• Enhance current robotic surgery initiatives, establish new programs, or transition from alternative platforms.

• Collaborate with robotic program stakeholders to define program objectives and metrics.

• Facilitate regular meetings to review program progress.

• Create surgeon training strategies and organize off-site training sessions and proctored procedures.

• Develop training plans for staff and assist them throughout their learning process.

• Participate in procedures during the training sessions for surgeons and staff.

• Employ change management strategies to engage clinical stakeholders and secure their commitment.

• Mentor hospital personnel to ensure skill transfer and operational independence.

• Coordinate with Medtronic field service engineers and hospital teams to prepare operating rooms.

• Monitor project milestones and showcase the value delivered to pilot sites.

• Travel extensively across the country, exceeding 75% of the time.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of clinical, sales, or related experience OR an Advanced Degree with no related experience.

• Must be willing to relocate to a major implementation site.

• Openness to travel within the country more than 75% of the time.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license is necessary.

• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required upon hiring and throughout employment for positions below the Principal level.

• For degrees obtained outside the United States, a qualification that meets 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is essential.

• Preferred: 12–18+ months of clinical sales experience in an operating room setting.

• Preferred: Familiarity with operating rooms and surgical procedures.

• Preferred: Skills in project management.

• Preferred: Experience in change management and process optimization.

• Preferred: Understanding of hospital workflows and intricate healthcare environments.

• Preferred: Strong analytical, interpersonal, research, communication, and presentation abilities.

• Preferred: Capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently.
