RN Triage Line Nurse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess incoming patient calls and determine the urgency and nature of clinical issues.

• Offer nursing advice within the boundaries of practice and established protocols.

• Evaluate medication refill needs when clinically suitable.

• Prepare and submit prior authorization requests for medications and treatments.

• Refer patients to mental health professionals, crisis services, or other suitable resources based on clinical requirements.

• Precisely document triage assessments, interventions, referrals, and follow-up suggestions.

• Facilitate care and communication among patients, nurses, physicians, mental health professionals, pharmacies, scheduling personnel, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's Degree or Specialized Training.

• Valid Registered Nurse License in Arkansas.

• 2-5 years of relevant nursing experience.

• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Familiarity with medications, dosing, indications, and potential side effects.

• Strong organizational, documentation, and prioritization skills.

• Ability to remain composed and effective in urgent, high-risk, or crisis situations.

• Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
