This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Engage directly with injured workers and healthcare providers.
• Promote advocacy, progressive medical care, and swift return-to-work solutions.
• Serve as a conduit for communication among all parties involved.
• Oversee intricate medical conditions, treatment strategies, and recovery from illness or injury.
• Act as a patient advocate for injured workers, their families, and caregivers.
• Guide, support, and coordinate care throughout the healing journey.
• Assist injured workers in attaining recovery and independence through advocacy, communication, education, resource identification, and service facilitation.
• Identify suitable providers and facilities across the full range of services.
• Ensure resources are utilized efficiently and effectively to deliver maximum value for clients and reimbursement sources.
• Travel frequently while operating from a home-based office.
• RN licensure is mandatory.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• High-speed internet access is necessary.
• Residence in the Northern Virginia area, encompassing Fairfax/Chantilly, Washington, DC, and nearby regions is essential.
• Successful completion of a motor vehicle record (MVR) check may be required if job-related.
• Medical, clinical, or rehabilitation knowledge and experience are preferred.
• Ability to advocate for injured workers and coordinate their care is crucial.
• Strong clear and conceptual thinking skills are necessary.
• Excellent judgment, problem-solving, analysis, and discretion are required.
• Capacity to manage work-related stress effectively.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Must be able to meet deadlines consistently.
• Proficient computer keyboarding skills are needed.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
