This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Champion an enterprise mindset throughout the Radioligand Therapies regional ecosystem to achieve and surpass organizational goals.
• Design, coordinate, and implement the customer engagement strategy for the RLT priority ecosystem.
• Assess the needs of key ecosystem partners and the local healthcare landscape to facilitate seamless account experiences, patient access, and education.
• Lead the collaboration of the Integrated Field Strategy Team, engaging with Sales, Medical, Market Access, and Novartis Patient Support functions without a direct reporting structure.
• Establish and nurture relationships with C-Suite and D-Suite executives alongside relevant cross-functional partners.
• Analyze target ecosystem archetype customers and leverage insights to foresee trends, convey business insights, and prioritize initiatives.
• Formulate and drive strategic plans for the region’s Integrated Field Strategy Team.
• Collaborate on strategies and execution for pre-launch and launch phases involving headquarters, account, and regional executive teams.
• Cultivate strategic customer relationships and pinpoint, prioritize, and advocate for change opportunities.
• Identify potential collaboration avenues with C-Suite, D-Suite, and non-HCP decision-makers within the ecosystem.
• Act as the primary oncology contact for RLT and partner with account leads for exchanges involving executives and headquarters.
• Promote internal cross-functional teamwork to remove obstacles and devise solutions.
• Lead in communication, problem resolution, decision-making, and enterprise collaboration.
• Offer alternatives and solutions in the face of challenges and uncertainty.
• Oversee account performance across the RLT platform, spearheading opportunities that influence demand-generating functions.
• Influence cross-functional teams, including sales, access, and other collaborators.
• Establish and manage communications between Novartis, ecosystems, internal account teams, customer engagement leadership, and other Novartis departments.
• Anticipate and relay strategic adjustments in alignment with organizational objectives.
• Manage multiple critical and complex ecosystem archetype targets.
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is mandatory.
• Over 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or similarly structured industries with extensive, geographically dispersed teams.
• Experience in intricate environments such as medical devices, diagnostics, life sciences services, insurance, consumer health, or B2B sectors is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years in account management with a focus on Academic Medical Centers, Integrated Health Systems, GPOs, and/or Large Community Oncology Integrated Networks.
• At least 2 years of project management/leadership experience and the ability to translate strategy into actionable execution.
• Two or more years of experience leading complex projects necessitating cross-functional and national coordination.
• Recent experience in the US within the last 5 years, coupled with a profound understanding of the US healthcare ecosystem.
• Strong business acumen and a proven track record of collaborating, working, and leading in a matrix environment.
• Capability to create and implement effective strategic account plans that align with customer and organizational objectives.
• Candidates must reside within the territory or within a reasonable daily commuting distance of 100 miles from the territory border.
• Willingness to travel 60–80% across a broad geography, including driving and/or flying within the territory.
• A fully valid and unrestricted driver’s license is required.
• Experience in Oncology, Nuclear Medicine, Buy and Bill, or other advanced healthcare fields is desirable.
• Familiarity with the macro-economic healthcare landscape is a plus.
• Must comply with customer credentialing guidelines, which may include vaccination requirements.
