RL Environment Engineer – Tool Gym Builder

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and implement tool-based settings for knowledge work simulations

• Develop clean and modular code to facilitate reinforcement learning training pipelines

• Diagnose and enhance environment mechanics based on testing feedback

• Collaborate asynchronously and engage in remote progress evaluations

• Design and assess new tool environments

• Code to simulate knowledge work tasks and guarantee realistic, stable agent interactions

• Refine environment designs based on model performance and technical input

• Discuss architectural decisions and address implementation challenges

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional background as a machine learning or reinforcement learning engineer

• Practical experience in creating custom RL environments or tool gyms

• Ability to commit to around 20 hours of work each week

• Proficient in discussing technical architecture and implementation approaches

• Specialized experience in machine learning within reinforcement learning environments

• Background as an RL engineer, AI researcher, simulation developer, or machine learning infrastructure expert
