Risk Management and Insurance Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist the Risk Management & Insurance team in implementing initiatives that enhance the company’s strategic goals.

• Conduct research and gather risk exposure data to facilitate insurance policy renewals.

• Review, audit, and monitor incoming and outgoing Certificates of Insurance (COIs) to ensure compliance with company and contractual obligations.

• Maintain and update the insurance policy database, including policy records, coverage details, and renewal timelines.

• Aid in the collection, organization, and validation of insurance and risk management data from internal stakeholders.

• Support insurance documentation, record retention, and special projects.

• Create a project timeline, provide updates on progress, and present final outcomes at a senior leadership expo.

• Collaborate on various projects with colleagues and leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum GPA of 2.5.

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven interest in risk management, insurance, compliance, or similar business functions.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent attention to detail with the capability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting while managing confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.
