This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Execute and oversee larger, more intricate assurance projects, including audits, reviews, and compilations.
β’ Tackle complex accounting issues such as consolidations, deferred tax calculations, and assessments of going concern.
β’ Utilize knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and various financial reporting frameworks in audit procedures.
β’ Train, supervise, and delegate tasks to associates and interns.
β’ Assess associate and intern workpapers, provide constructive feedback, and ensure valid conclusions are drawn.
β’ Tailor audit strategies based on identified risks and address audit-related issues during both planning and execution phases.
β’ Examine financial statements and disclosures for inaccuracies or omissions.
β’ Draft client correspondence, conduct internal control walkthroughs, and manage client inquiries.
β’ Contribute to engagement budgets and oversee performance in relation to these budgets.
β’ Liaise with team members and clients on audit-related matters and project updates.
β’ Engage in department-wide training and self-directed learning initiatives.
β’ Efficiently manage time to meet deadlines while prioritizing multiple engagements.
β’ Perform additional duties as assigned by firm leadership.
β’ Achieve annual billable hour targets and other performance objectives.
β’ 3β5 years of experience in assurance-focused roles.
β’ CPA license or eligibility to obtain one.
β’ Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline.
β’ In-depth understanding of audit standards, procedures, and financial reporting frameworks.
β’ Proficient in audit-related software and tools.
β’ Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities to mentor and supervise team members.
β’ Excellent communication skills for effective client and team interactions.
β’ Outstanding organizational skills and capability to manage multiple engagements proficiently.
β’ High attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
β’ Analytical mindset to tackle complex accounting and assurance challenges.
