This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Arrange and carry out on-site assessments and generate relevant reports for clients to assess risk.
• Recognize business operations, construction materials, fire protection systems, and safety protocols.
• Create recommendations regarding safety and loss prevention.
• Serve as a professional representative of Verisk and its clients through phone, in-person interactions, and written communication.
• Produce precise and customer-focused reports that support Verisk’s commitment to data quality.
• Organize schedules and plan optimal routes for site visits.
• Examine commercial properties and record risk-related information that aids in insurance underwriting and pricing.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Exceptional customer service and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Capability to compose clear and informative reports adhering to quality standards.
• High proficiency with technology, including laptops, mobile devices, MS Office Suite, and mobile applications.
• Working knowledge of functional math, including measures of square feet, perimeter, and percentages.
• Self-driven planning and goal-setting abilities.
• Competence in efficiently routing, scheduling, documenting, and conducting site visits with minimal supervision.
• Ability to observe and record details and measurements, collect data, and navigate to and from sites.
• Capacity to work in diverse environments and varying weather conditions.
• Capability to walk, stand, climb stairs, drive for extended periods, and occasionally use ladders.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
• Willingness and ability to travel overnight, both in-state and out-of-state as required.
• Ability to absorb, learn, and apply training material effectively.
• Distraction-free remote work environment with access to a high-speed internet connection.
• Primary residence within proximity to the designated city or territory.
• Professional certifications such as CFPS, CSP, ARM, ALCM, NFPA, and/or CPCU are advantageous.
