This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in executing the strategic plan for risk assumption, risk transfer, and loss prevention initiatives related to both physician and non-clinical risks.
• Gather underwriting data and manage historical records for captive, reinsurance, physician, commercial insurance policy renewals, and bonds.
• Support risk assessment and facilitate physician onboarding into the captive.
• Maintain comprehensive databases of insured entities, properties, vehicles, drivers, and physicians within the risk management information system.
• Oversee insurance schedules, policies, premiums, and policy summaries.
• Help with physician credentialing and requests for loss history.
• Evaluate risks and implement loss prevention strategies for clinical and non-clinical areas, including educational initiatives.
• Aid in compliance matters related to patient compensation funds and other specialized state funds.
• Process and monitor invoices, premium payments, and premium returns.
• Coordinate certificate requests with facilities, practice managers, real estate, finance, human resources, and various internal departments.
• Engage in special projects and provide assistance as required.
• Keep administrative and clinical leaders, as well as Market/System Risk, informed about significant events and risk management activities.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in Risk Management, Healthcare, Business, or a related discipline.
• CPHRM certification is required within 4 years of hire.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare provision or administration, insurance, loss prevention, or a related field, or a combination of post-secondary education and experience equivalent to a degree.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong data analysis and risk assessment skills.
• Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
• Competence in data entry and electronic file management.
• Capability to submit payments and credits for processing.
• Ability to contribute to loss prevention efforts.
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.

• CPCU, ARM, or similar certifications are preferred.
