Revit API Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Support the Development Manager in software design and coding tasks.

• Create new engineering automation applications and enhance existing ones within the RAPIL codebase.

• Write, maintain, and optimize code for internal software tools and applications.

• Collaborate directly with product owners and fellow engineers on development projects.

• Participate in and contribute to company development meetings.

• Familiarize yourself with the codebase while consistently enhancing your programming skills.

• Resolve minor bugs and attend to requests from the development team.

• Oversee the technical performance of internal systems.

• Collect user feedback regarding program functionality and assist in documentation efforts.

• Execute development tests and create unit tests.

• Support the tools and infrastructure necessary for engineering work on a national scale.

• Collaborate on innovation initiatives such as the IDEA Program and MEG, the internal AI assistant.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, CIS preferred.

• At least 5 years of experience working with the Autodesk Revit API.

• Expertise in the WPF Framework.

• Familiarity with databases and operating systems.

• Solid understanding of email systems and Microsoft Office software.

• Quick learner of new software and technologies.

• Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively in a team setting.

• Good comprehension of the organization’s objectives and goals.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, emphasizing rapport-building, active listening, and questioning techniques.

• Detail-oriented approach.

• Basic knowledge of coding languages such as C#, HTML5, and JavaScript.

• Fundamental programming skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% with occasional overnight stays.

• Sponsorship is not available.

• Experience with Jira & Git is a plus.

• Experience with Blazor is a plus.
