This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Make final decisions regarding publication by assessing the scientific integrity of submitted manuscripts and their appropriateness for protocol visualization.

• Review new submissions to confirm that the manuscript aligns with the journal's scope and publication criteria.

• Implement prompt engineering strategies to verify reviewer feedback for relevance, completeness, and compliance with journal standards.

• Utilize custom AI tools, bespoke GPTs, and prompt-driven workflows to conduct pre-QC checks for formatting discrepancies, missing sections, clarity of language, and adherence to guidelines prior to peer review.

• Collaborate with the Production team to facilitate the smooth progression of accepted manuscripts through the production pipeline.

• Coordinate with peer review and editorial teams to ensure adherence to review and decision timelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's or Ph.D. in life sciences, chemical sciences, or engineering.

• Over 3 years of experience in editorial review and submission-to-acceptance processes.

• Prior experience in scientific publishing or peer review is highly desirable.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Strong scientific and technical vocabulary.

• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality content.

• Openness to learning and utilizing automation/AI-assisted tools for enhanced efficiency.

• Capability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
