This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Prepare and structure manuscripts, including front matter and tables of contents, for tailored publishing projects.
• Perform photo research and create informational spreadsheets for tracking production progress.
• Review manuscripts and course materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines.
• Monitor permissions invoices and approvals, offering supplementary permissions assistance.
• Establish and maintain Jira tickets for project management and status updates.
• Assist with ePub publication by reviewing and testing ePub files.
• Develop online assessment questions and test banks.
• Assemble PDF eBook files and evaluate courseware for quality assurance.
• Distribute ISBNs and refresh reports and tracking documentation.
• Collaborate with the Custom Solutions team to ensure projects remain on schedule and ready for the audience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects in a dynamic, deadline-oriented environment.
• Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, especially in proofreading and quality assessment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a history of effective, professional collaboration.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Workspace, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
• Capability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently with limited supervision.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in English or a related discipline.
• A minimum of one year of relevant experience preferred; student internships are also considered.
