This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and distribute a monthly newsletter that highlights energy news, pertinent legislation, and regulatory filings, especially those that affect Railbelt utilities.

• Collaborate with partner organizers throughout Alaska to identify and address community needs.

• Encourage volunteer participation in AETP.

• Revise and refine articles submitted by other authors.

• Take part in joint fundraising initiatives for the Alaska Energy Project.

• Regularly maintain and refresh the AETP website as necessary.

• Generate timely articles and newsletters in response to emerging needs, including new policy changes and legislative actions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week.

• Experience or capability in editing articles and newsletters.

• Proficiency in maintaining and updating a website as required.

• Ability to engage with partner organizers throughout Alaska.

• Skill in promoting volunteer engagement and participating in joint fundraising efforts.
