This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct audits of unbilled accounts to verify that services are properly documented, coded, and billed, thereby minimizing preventable DNFB and DNFC durations.
• Identify discrepancies in charges and trends, collaborating with department leaders to implement corrective measures.
• Provide support to Revenue Cycle leadership through detailed revenue integrity reporting and analysis.
• Assist in validating the Chargemaster and ensuring charge compliance with CMS, payer, and regulatory standards.
• Address coding issues flagged by the HB/PB team for resolution.
• Aid in the reduction of DNFB and DNFC durations.
• Deliver actionable revenue integrity reporting and analytics to leadership.
• Facilitate collaboration among the RRT Clinical Department, Clinical Operations, Patient Financial Services, Coding, CDI, and RCM Operational Leadership.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• At least 2+ years of experience in healthcare accounts receivable (AR), hospital billing, or revenue cycle resolution.
• A robust foundational understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle, encompassing claims submission, remittance processing, and follow-up.
• Proven analytical and critical thinking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in computer technology, with the ability to quickly learn new software platforms.
• Previous experience in denial analysis or underpayment identification.
• Familiarity with interpreting payer contracts and fee schedules.
• Experience navigating various payer portals and systems.
• A reliable high-speed internet connection is essential.
• Access to stable Wi-Fi with adequate bandwidth is required.
• A HIPAA-compliant secure workspace is necessary.
• Must comply with relevant HIPAA privacy and security regulations.
• 100% remote work arrangement.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection to be provided by the employee for remote/hybrid work.
• Stable Wi-Fi with sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing, cloud-based tools, and other online work-related tasks.
