This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a strategic collaborator with the client’s Revenue Integrity leader throughout the Epic implementation process.
• Provide guidance on charge capture and Charge Data Master (CDM) design choices.
• Collaborate with Information Services and the Epic implementation team to ensure operational requirements are in sync with the charging build.
• Manage the readiness of charging workflows and oversee charge reconciliation activities leading up to go-live.
• Offer support to Revenue Integrity during go-live and stabilization phases.
• Assist client leadership in anticipating downstream revenue effects and identifying risks for escalation.
• Utilize Epic revenue cycle capabilities, including claim rules and edits, to enhance clean claim rates, minimize denials, and boost cash collections.
• Analyze data and reports for root cause assessments and pinpoint opportunities for revenue integrity improvements.
• Introduce Operational Excellence best practices to clients while cultivating trusted advisor relationships.
• Over 7 years of experience in healthcare operations related to revenue integrity, coding, finance, revenue cycle management, patient accounting, and/or physician billing.
• Proven experience managing Revenue Integrity operations at the director level or higher.
• Background in leading an Epic revenue cycle IT team or acting as a vital operational partner during an Epic implementation.
• Demonstrated capability to function as a trusted advisor to senior healthcare executives and facilitate prompt decisions in a complex implementation setting.
• Comprehensive understanding of charge capture and charge reconciliation procedures, including electronic health record charge connections to the CDM.
• Experience collaborating with Epic IT to design, validate, and execute changes to charging workflows.
• Healthcare consulting experience is preferred.
• Epic Charging certification is preferred; Resolute HB or SBO certification is a plus.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Willingness to travel weekly across the nation.
