Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst – HB Claims

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Implement, modify, test, and manage revenue cycle system applications.

• Design, test, and maintain Epic Revenue Cycle modules, Claims Manager, billing systems, interfaces, and associated processes.

• Act as a liaison between vendors, IT personnel, application analysts, management, and end users.

• Evaluate end-user needs and propose system and procedural enhancements.

• Create standard, customized, ad hoc, and application report templates.

• Conduct analytical tasks, documentation, testing, and final analyses to ensure system efficiency.

• Execute team and integrated testing for billing system functionality and interfaces.

• Identify system requirements and assess system design against user requirements.

• Manage system parameter and reference tables, enhancement logs, and related records.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for end-user system performance issues.

• Investigate, document, and facilitate issue resolution.

• Review, research, test, and assist with system updates and user maintenance.

• Support the development and testing of third-party billing charge files and master files.

• Create reference materials and assist in training documentation.

• Provide 24 x 7 support and participate in occasional early morning, evening, and on-call duties.

• Comply with and enforce Carle Foundation policies and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's Degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Finance, or Accounting.

• Epic Certification to be obtained within 2 months.

• Prior experience in revenue cycle operations.

• In-depth knowledge of billing system modules and revenue cycle functionality.

• Strong understanding of project planning methodologies.

• General familiarity with CPT, ICD codes, HCPCS, and HIPAA Transaction Code Sets.

• Capability to support 24 x 7 environments and engage in occasional on-call responsibilities.

• Proficiency in performing unit, integrated, and team testing.

• Skill in developing reports and programming logic using third-party software.
