Revenue Cycle Specialist III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert on order-to-cash handling responsibilities and internal procedures.

• Execute Revenue Cycle processes, manage EMR work queues, and resolve patient claims, charges, and appeals.

• Assist in managing workflow and resource allocation alongside leadership.

• Participate in and co-facilitate meetings with various internal departments.

• Utilize Microsoft Office and EMR reporting tools to aid team initiatives and fulfill leadership requests.

• Engage in cross-departmental project initiatives.

• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and workflows while recording necessary information.

• Ensure compliance with work queue turnaround time requirements and contribute to process improvement efforts.

• Complete Epic training for TOQ and PFS work queues.

• Maintain alignment with the company's mission, values, and Quality Management System policies and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a contact center, data entry, or customer service setting.

• At least 2 years of experience with various computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Epic, and Onbase.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical data entry environment using EMR systems.

• Demonstrated ability to address complex issues related to overall workflow processes.

• Familiarity with HIPAA Laws.

• Knowledge of medical terminology, medical billing, and insurance terminology.

• Understanding of laboratory terminology.

• Proficient in Adobe Acrobat; proven capability to navigate various systems within order workflow and convert files to PDF format.

• Ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.

• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

• Experience with project-based work is preferred.

• Peer mentorship experience is preferred.

• Experience supporting multiple work streams at the same time is preferred.

• Experience with process documentation using Microsoft Visio or similar applications is preferred.
