This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Accurately and efficiently process third-party billing utilizing attendance records, vouchers, claim forms, and electronic billing systems.
• Oversee and maintain signed attendance records, treatment vouchers, prior authorizations, and other necessary billing documentation.
• Manage the complete billing cycle involving commercial insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and patient payments.
• Investigate billing denials and payment discrepancies.
• Rectify claim errors and submit rebills when necessary.
• Optimize reimbursement and minimize outstanding balances.
• Ensure that billing activities comply with payer and agency regulations.
• Prepare and distribute weekly reports accurately and punctually.
• Provide support to leadership with billing data and operational reporting.
• Assist with special projects and tasks assigned by the Director of Revenue Cycle.
• Maintain organized billing records in accordance with agency and financial regulations.
• Ensure documentation is thorough, precise, and ready for audits.
• Uphold the confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Exhibit professionalism and sound judgment in all interactions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of one year of experience in billing, accounting, administrative support, records management, or a related field.
• Proficient computer and data entry skills.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking capabilities.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgment.
• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Experience in healthcare billing or revenue cycle is preferred.
• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance billing is preferred.
• Experience with electronic billing and healthcare software systems is preferred.
• Adhere to all HIPAA, OSHA, Fire Safety, and agency policies.
• Attend required training sessions and meetings.
• Accurately document hours worked.
