Revenue Cycle Operations Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Oversee the operations and functions of the Revenue Cycle Business Office.

• Generate, analyze, and present key operational metrics for the designated area, which includes Billing, T Status, AR, Cash Balance, and CFB.

• Design, test, and implement new system edits, workflows, or queue adjustments.

• Develop, test, and implement new processes to accommodate regulatory or system modifications.

• Recognize opportunities for improvement to enhance revenue generation and recovery.

• Monitor the productivity of team members to ensure efficient and effective unit operations.

• Identify gaps in work time, communicate issues to management, and assist in finding resolutions.

• Determine process and system enhancements to achieve productivity targets.

• Provide general support tasks as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Revenue Cycle / Hospital Business Office functions, including Customer Service, Billing, and Follow-up.

• Completion of a relevant certification program in areas such as billing, medical office, coding, or accounting may substitute for 1 year of experience (such as CPC, CCS, or equivalent).

• Bachelor's degree is required.

• Strong critical thinking skills.

• Proficiency in project management.

• Experience in data analysis.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Familiarity with systems interaction process implementation.
