This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the complete revenue performance for a designated region, overseeing the process from enrollment to payment.
• Enhance reimbursement results, minimize denial risks, expedite cash collection, and strengthen revenue governance across various states.
• Drive advancements in first-pass resolution, reduction of denials, and the cycle time from authorization to payment.
• Lead the strategy for accounts receivable, decreasing aged receivables and preventing revenue losses.
• Ensure adherence to state contract revenue obligations.
• Manage payer escalation procedures and facilitate ongoing performance evaluations.
• Identify trends in denials and systemic reimbursement challenges.
• Coordinate cross-departmental strategies to eliminate obstacles to payment.
• Develop and oversee regional revenue forecasts that align with operational drivers.
• Enhance forecast accuracy through diligent monitoring and variance analysis.
• Establish uniform revenue governance and reporting standards.
• Collaborate with Finance on initiatives aimed at margin enhancement.
• Integrate Enrollment, Authorizations, Billing, Claims, and Accounts Receivable into a unified revenue workflow.
• Address process breakdowns that hinder reimbursement.
• Conduct revenue performance assessments and develop corrective action plans.
• Create and maintain a standardized revenue cycle playbook.
• Mentor and develop Claims Leaders with clear performance expectations and accountability measures.
• Supervise claims production through Claims Leaders while retaining ownership of regional outcomes.
• Foster operational discipline, continuous enhancement, and standardized practices.
• Support structured training and skill development initiatives within the claims department.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in revenue cycle management.
• Proven track record of enhancing accounts receivable performance and implementing denial reduction strategies.
• Experience in leading multi-tiered teams within a complex, multi-state environment.
• Strong financial insight and forecasting capabilities.
• Background in government-funded or regulated reimbursement settings (preferred).
• Experience in scaling revenue operations within high-growth organizations (preferred).
• Proficiency with business intelligence and reporting tools, such as Power BI (preferred).
