Revenue Assurance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Direct the operations of revenue assurance, governance, and risk management concerning product, pricing, promotional, and billing changes.

• Manage governance and intake workflows, ensuring requests are thoroughly reviewed for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.

• Supervise revenue assurance reporting, performance indicators, trend assessments, exception monitoring, and risk detection.

• Lead revenue assurance efforts for various projects and business initiatives, focusing on impact assessments, issue resolution, risk identification, and status updates.

• Oversee the performance, development, workload, and priorities of team members involved in revenue assurance.

• Ensure thorough validation and testing for product, pricing, promotional, billing, and system modifications.

• Analyze outcomes, exceptions, and billing results, directing investigations and root cause analyses for issues identified.

• Spearhead initiatives aimed at process improvement, automation, and enhancing operational efficiency related to revenue assurance activities and controls.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) -OR- 4+ years of relevant professional work experience.

• Over 6 years of experience in billing systems, revenue assurance, product catalog management, financial analysis, or business operations.

• At least 3 years of leadership experience, which may include managing teams, leading projects, or steering cross-functional initiatives.

• Proficient in analyzing data, billing outcomes, revenue assurance risks, and business implications within complex technical, billing, product, or operational settings.

• Proven skills in project management, prioritization, resource coordination, and supporting business decisions.

• Familiarity with implementing governance, quality assurance, internal controls, process enhancements, or operational readiness standards.

• Ability to develop effective working relationships, influence stakeholders, and coordinate cross-functional teams during significant business transitions.

• Experience in coordinating cross-functional testing, validation sign-offs, or readiness assessments for billing-affecting changes.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to convey complex financial, technical, and operational matters to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

• MBA or an advanced degree is preferred.

• Background in wireless, broadband, telecommunications, or subscription-based billing is preferred.

• Familiarity with SharePoint, Power BI, SQL, reporting tools, or similar enterprise systems is preferred.

• Experience with product catalog management and billing platforms is preferred.
