
Revenue Analyst, Self-Funded Health Plans

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Evaluate both current and historical claims data for prospective and existing client health plans.
• Provide data-driven insights to support sales, retention, and marketing teams in client acquisition efforts.
• Review and prepare proposals for new and renewing business with competitive and precise pricing.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of Allied's product offerings.
• Assist in the strategic placement of stop-loss coverage under the guidance of senior team members.
• Help with negotiations for new business opportunities and renewal clients.
• Oversee vendor-partner relationships with supervision.
• Aid in network analysis for both new and existing business prospects.
• Collaborate with stop-loss partners to develop pricing strategies.
• Support Sales Executives and Client Executives during sales, retention, and marketing calls.
• Establish strategic external and cross-departmental relationships.
• Continue to enhance knowledge of group medical stop-loss reinsurance and underwriting principles.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
• 1–3 years of experience in an analytical role is required.
• Familiarity with Group Health Insurance and/or Stop Loss experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Medical Stop Loss Underwriting experience is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Access is beneficial.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail are required.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities are necessary.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and, at times, high-pressure environment.
• Proven time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
• Capability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Self-audit skills are necessary.
• Moderate familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Dynamics) is required.
• Access to cable broadband or fiber optic internet service with a minimum of 100Mbps download and 25Mbps upload speed is required.
