This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Design and execute unique retirement research, insights, and thought leadership that align with enterprise goals and market opportunities.
• Develop market-oriented content and presentations on retirement subjects for clients, prospective clients, and industry stakeholders.
• Act as the firm's representative in client meetings, prospect discussions, conferences, and other external engagements, serving as a retirement subject matter expert.
• Collaborate with distribution teams to enhance strategic client dialogues, identify meeting opportunities, and position capabilities effectively.
• Convert proprietary research, industry advancements, and client feedback into concise, relevant, and actionable insights.
• Create and maintain a feedback loop to capture market dynamics, client viewpoints, and competitive intelligence.
• Work alongside marketing, product, research, and investment teams to ensure retirement messaging and content are timely, distinct, and commercially relevant.
• Support modular content tailored for plan sponsors, consultants, and advisors.
• Contribute to the firm’s perspective on retirement income, participant behavior, target date solutions, fiduciary matters, private assets in defined contribution plans, and global retirement challenges.
• Report to Jessica Sclafani, Head of the Retirement Strategist Team.
• A Bachelor’s degree and over 10 years of relevant experience in retirement support.
• Extensive experience in retirement, asset management, and financial services.
• In-depth knowledge of retirement themes, including defined contribution plan investments, plan design, participant behavior, retirement income, and industry trends.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to present complex subjects in a clear and effective manner.
• Proven experience in developing thought leadership, strategic content, presentations, or research-oriented materials.
• Ability to engage credibly with institutional clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders.
• Strong collaborative skills and capability to work efficiently across various functions and teams.
• A commercial mindset and understanding of how insights and content can enhance business development and client interactions.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Experience in working with or supporting distribution, institutional, intermediary, or retirement-specific client segments.
• Familiarity with the US retirement market and retirement policy trends.
• Experience speaking at conferences, client events, or industry forums.
• An advanced degree or relevant professional certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
