Retirement Plan Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Act as a representative of Mutual of America Financial Group in a sales and marketing role for clients and prospects within an assigned territory.

• Pursue new group takeover plans while also cross-selling additional products.

• Schedule qualified appointments with 401(k) and 403(b) plan sponsors through cold calling, networking, and referrals.

• Develop new prospects within a designated geographic area.

• Cross-sell solutions and achieve or surpass goals by successfully closing deals.

• Participate in client review meetings alongside the Customer Relationship Manager for the top five to ten clients in the territory.

• Request introductions from clients and act as a reference for sales opportunities.

• Report to the Regional Vice President and work in collaboration with the Retirement Plan Specialist team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in outside business-to-business sales.

• Demonstrated effectiveness in selling, presenting, prospecting, and managing territory.

• Motivated to make outbound cold calls to potential clients.

• Strong communication skills.

• Strategic thinker capable of working independently.

• Excellent relationship management and building abilities.

• Active FINRA Series 6, 63, and SIE licenses, or must obtain them within the first 180 days of employment.

• Valid driver's license.

• Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Proven ability in cold-calling sales is preferred.

• Familiarity with retirement products, including 401(k) and 403(b) plans, is preferred.
