Retirement Income Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement a comprehensive business plan aimed at achieving and surpassing revenue targets within the First Citizens territory.

• Foster and maintain relationships with both existing and potential clients.

• Transform inactive clients into active contributors and secure new business opportunities within the territory.

• Deliver exceptional service and prompt execution to assist advisors.

• Conduct proactive sales calls to share annuity sales strategies and successes, identify opportunities, provide product information, collect marketing data, and extend sales support.

• Carry out marketing initiatives, including webinars, e-newsletters, video messaging, carrier-sponsored events, and advisor recognition programs.

• Facilitate electronic order entry for advisors.

• Assist the Retirement Income Consultant with business and administrative tasks and support appointment scheduling.

• Aid with advisor transactions.

• Address service issues and resolve carrier deficiencies.

• Present Ash Brokerage products, services, resources, and competitive advantages effectively.

• Handle incoming service and sales-related calls.

• Conduct outbound call campaigns to drive sales growth.

• Keep track of advisor interactions and sales activity in the contact management system.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field, along with a minimum of two years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• A resident state life and health insurance license is mandatory or must be secured within 90 days of employment.

• Must be registered with a broker dealer within 180 days of hiring.

• Series 7 certification is required within the first 12 months.

• Demonstrated sense of urgency.

• Exceptional customer (advisor) service skills.

• Strong ability to multi-task with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring swift and accurate project completion.

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

• Excellent spoken and written communication abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Suite and mobile device utilization.

• Occasional travel within the territory (less than 10%).

• Prior experience in annuity and securities product sales is preferred.

• Previous experience in the financial services industry is advantageous.

• Experience in competitive analysis is preferred.
