Retirement Income Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement a strategic business plan aimed at achieving and surpassing revenue targets within the First Citizens territory.

• Cultivate and nurture relationships with both current and potential clients.

• Transform inactive clients into active ones and secure new business opportunities within the designated territory.

• Deliver exceptional service and timely execution to assist advisors effectively.

• Conduct proactive sales calls covering annuity sales strategies, sales opportunities, product insights, marketing information, and sales assistance.

• Carry out marketing initiatives as directed by leadership, including webinars, e-newsletters, video communications, carrier-sponsored events, and advisor recognition programs.

• Facilitate electronic order entry processes for advisors.

• Aid in the business and administrative tasks of the Retirement Income Consultant.

• Help schedule appointments for the consultant.

• Assist with advisor transactions as needed.

• Address service-related issues and resolve carrier deficiencies when necessary.

• Present Ash Brokerage products, services, resources, and competitive advantages effectively.

• Handle incoming service and sales calls promptly.

• Engage in outbound calling campaigns to boost sales.

• Keep advisor interactions and proposed sales activity data updated in the contact management system.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field, along with a minimum of two years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• A life and health insurance license for the resident state is mandatory or must be acquired within 90 days of employment.

• Registration with a broker dealer is required within 180 days of hiring.

• Series 7 must be obtained within the first 12 months.

• Experience in selling annuity and securities products is advantageous.

• Prior experience in the financial services sector is preferred.

• Experience in competitive analysis is preferred.

• Strong sense of urgency.

• Excellent customer service skills, particularly for advisors.

• Capacity to multi-task with a strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.

• Outstanding oral and written communication abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Suite and mobile device usage.

• Willingness to travel occasionally within the territory (less than 10%).
