This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Propel sales growth and facilitate the successful integration of CYKLX™ within Retina Specialty accounts
• Cultivate relationships with Retina specialists, technicians, office managers, practice leadership, benefits verification staff, and billing personnel
• Implement territory sales strategies, selling methodologies, and promotional initiatives
• Conduct in-office visits, provide product details, and deliver staff education
• Offer clinical education and logistical support
• Assist practices in establishing intravitreal injection protocols that incorporate CYKLX™ as a pre-injection anesthetic
• Represent the company at local society meetings, customer events, and educational programs at the territory level
• Execute approved educational programs and meetings for physicians and staff
• Manage territory routing, call planning, frequency, and segmentation
• Analyze territory sales data, market trends, and competitive activities
• Maintain CRM documentation, call notes, sampling logs, and customer information
• Support in-office ordering, inventory, billing, and reimbursement processes
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, Field Reimbursement Managers, Medical Science Liaisons, marketing, medical, and cross-functional teams
• Provide voice-of-customer insights to sales leadership, marketing, and medical teams
• Assist with national campaigns, sampling programs, pilot initiatives, and conference activities
• Ensure compliance with company policies, promotional guidelines, and regulatory standards
• Oversee territory budget, travel, samples, and promotional materials
• Participate in team training, national meetings, and skill development sessions
• Report directly to the Regional Sales Director, Retina
• Bachelor’s degree is required
• Over 5 years of experience in medical sales
• At least 2 years of experience in buy and bill therapeutics or medical device sales
• Eyecare experience with a proven track record in engaging Retina Specialists is strongly preferred
• In-depth knowledge of total account management in complex product sales pull-through
• Proven success in territory management, building customer relationships, and achieving sales results
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with Field Reimbursement Manager and Medical Science Liaison teams
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory daily, with overnight travel required
• Self-motivated with robust organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license is necessary
• Capacity to travel within the territory more than 90% of the time, including long drives, short flights, and/or overnight stays
• Ability to accurately understand and communicate technical information
• Capability to adhere to instructions, work rules, company policies, and safety and security protocols
• Aptitude for meeting deadlines and managing standard workplace demands
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information
• Ability to apply judgment and reasoning to resolve work-related issues
