This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take full ownership of the sales process for large, mega, and not-for-profit at-risk plans.
• Collaborate proactively with relationship management to pinpoint at-risk plans and position Empower for relationship retention.
• Partner with leadership and relationship management teams to identify clients that are at risk.
• Attend committee meetings with relationship managers prior to RFPs to gain insights into client needs, objectives, and sensitivities.
• Develop and implement sales strategies aimed at ensuring client retention.
• Position Empower and Empower Investment product offerings to improve participant outcomes.
• Leverage internal resources to guarantee client satisfaction and retention.
• Oversee the RFP response process.
• Lead finalist presentations, which include team assembly, preparation, and delivery.
• Manage contract negotiations, involving leadership and relationship management as necessary.
• Record all activities and strategies in Salesforce.
• Collaborate with internal departments that support recordkeeping, LMN leadership, relationship management, participant communications and education, and Empower Investments.
• Own the sales strategy from initiation to completion, including successful RFPs, finalist presentations, site visits, and contract negotiations.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Over 10 years of experience in the recordkeeping industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Empower recordkeeping.
• Experience in relationship management and sales within the recordkeeping sector.
• FINRA Series 6 and 63 certifications are required within specified timelines.
• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
• No employment visa sponsorship or sponsorship transfers, including CPT/OPT.
• For remote roles, a reliable high-speed internet connection with a wired setup is necessary.
• Acceptable internet service includes fiber, cable, or DSL.
