Retail Territory Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Oversee a portfolio of Home Depot and Lowe’s accounts or a combination of both.

• Manage retail accounts along with daily operations, which includes visiting retail accounts.

• Analyze metrics from Salesforce, Power BI, and ShowPad to organize customer routing schedules.

• Propel top-line sales to meet quarterly and annual point-of-sale (POS) objectives.

• Collaborate with store and district managers to align strategies with retail-specific targets.

• Evaluate store POS and promotional performance to develop tailored sales plans for stores and territories.

• Work alongside Sales Operations to ensure adequate inventory for promotional efforts.

• Implement national event activations and create local territory activities to enhance sales and market share.

• Execute national overdrive strategies while identifying opportunities specific to the territory.

• Engage with key decision-makers in stores and districts to create and implement customized initiatives.

• Partner with retail service providers through district meetings and quality assessments.

• Utilize sales enablement tools to detect sales gaps and devise strategies to address them.

• Oversee inventory management and retailer-specific order placement, including exit strategies for Special Buy promotions.

• Cultivate relationships with professional end-users through product and service solutions, job site blitzes, training, and product seeding.

• Conduct monthly job site visits in line with retailer Pro strategies.

• Manage travel and expenses, demonstration tools, and other budgets to enhance profitability.


⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of retail sales experience in the consumer goods sector.

• Willingness to travel regionally and work on occasion during weekends (approximately 8-10 times a year).

• Ability to handle, train on, and demonstrate various products.

• Capability to lift weights up to 50 lbs.

• Capacity to perform physical labor, which includes climbing ladders and standing for extended periods.

• Proficient in analyzing Power BI and Salesforce data to formulate strategic growth initiatives.

• Knowledge and understanding of IT business systems, including BW, Salesforce.com, and Tool Commerce.

• Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Must successfully pass a drug test and motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
