Retail Route Representative – Career Growth Opportunity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Travel to convenience store accounts within the designated territory

• Establish and nurture relationships with store managers, employees, and team members

• Directly deliver products to assigned convenience stores

• Merchandise and stock products to enhance visibility and drive sales

• Verify and count inventory levels

• Replenish products and fulfill orders

• Monitor inventory levels and place orders as necessary

• Generate invoices for restock orders

• Submit post-visit reports and complete route documentation using mobile technology

• Maintain orderly shelves, product displays, signage, and store presentations

• Ensure accuracy of planograms

• Professionally represent Max Distributing at each account

• Efficiently manage schedule and route while working independently

• Conduct multiple store visits daily and drive up to 100 miles each day

• Provide support to convenience store accounts in the Savannah area

⛳️ Requirements

• No previous industry experience is necessary; training will be provided

• Relevant experience in retail, customer service, hospitality, food service, restaurant management, delivery driving, route sales, sales, account management, or merchandising is beneficial

• Must be reliable and dependable

• Self-motivated and driven individual

• Competitive spirit and goal-oriented mindset

• Comfortable working independently

• Strong communication skills

• Well-organized and detail-oriented

• Proficient in using smartphones and mobile applications

• Professional demeanor and customer-focused approach

• Valid driver's license

• Acceptable driving record

• Capability to lift, stock, and merchandise products throughout the day

• Some overnight travel may be required

• 2–3 years of experience in DSD delivery and retail merchandising with strong customer service skills

• Comfortable utilizing a smartphone or tablet for daily tasks

• Physically able to lift 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally

• Ability to climb and work at heights ranging from 9 to 12 feet

• Ability to frequently stoop, kneel, and crouch

• Must reside within the assigned territory

• Valid U.S. driver's license in good standing for a minimum of 3 years

• Willing to travel overnight up to 30% and outside assigned geography with advance notice

• Ability to work independently with integrity, professionalism, and strong problem-solving skills

• Comfortable engaging in professional sales conversations with retail store personnel

• Capable of completing multiple store visits daily and driving up to 100 miles per day

• Ability to inspect, stock, and maintain merchandise and advertising displays

• Must be 18 years of age or older
