Retail Reporting Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.

📋 Description

• Complete cyclical due diligence questionnaires for mutual funds, ETFs, and closed-end funds provided by John Hancock Investment Management.

• Assist Retail Distribution teams by delivering precise, timely, and high-quality responses to questionnaires.

• Prepare, revise, and finalize monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc questionnaires within set deadlines.

• Manage all facets of the DDQ production process to adhere to the firm’s quality standards.

• Research and verify responses utilizing approved databases and other identified resources.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts across the organization to source and confirm ad hoc responses.

• Support additional team projects as needed.

• Work alongside colleagues supporting Manulife Investment Management’s institutional product offerings.

• Report to the Director of Proposal Services for the US & Asia.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant experience within the financial services sector.

• Highly effective written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to work efficiently with various levels of management and internal clients.

• Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects, prioritize tasks, and adhere to strict deadlines.

• Exceptional organizational and project management skills.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Robust analytical skills with the ability to identify inaccurate or inconsistent data.

• Ability to work effectively and respectfully with individuals who possess diverse skills, backgrounds, and experiences.

• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset, strong sense of ownership, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.

• Proficient in Adobe and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Preferred: experience in retail or mutual fund reporting.

• Preferred: Bachelor's or Associate’s degree, ideally in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.

• Preferred: experience with Qvidian or Loopio.
