Retail Production Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Create and implement targeted marketing strategies aimed at enhancing client retention and promoting new-to-bank growth.

• Establish connections with potential clients and influential centers of authority.

• Extract and analyze credit reports while reviewing income and asset documentation.

• Support Mortgage Loan Originators in determining the most effective loan structures.

• Operate Desktop Underwriter and prepare files for submission.

• Request and resolve underwriting conditions to ensure timely closings.

• Act as the main point of contact for borrowers and realtors, providing them with status updates.

• Collect initial application details via phone.

• Organize high-priority appointments and manage the calendars of Mortgage Loan Originators.

• Monitor document requests using Encompass and Salesforce.

• Evaluate incoming files within 24 hours for any discrepancies, omissions, or income/asset issues.

• Collaborate with Mortgage Loan Originators and Underwriters to address file issues and fill documentation gaps.

• Ensure compliance with RESPA, TILA, and relevant state and federal regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of professional office experience.

• At least 1 year of experience within the mortgage or banking sector.

• Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and implement marketing initiatives for retention and new lead generation.

• General understanding of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, and VA guidelines.

• Familiarity with Encompass LOS or similar mortgage software.

• Competence in Google Workspace.

• Exceptional attention to detail and the capability to manage a high-volume pipeline.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

• Must adhere to company policies and state/federal regulatory standards.

• Preferred experience with advanced tools such as Blend and/or Salesforce.

• Preferred 1+ years as a Loan Originator or Senior Processor.

• Preferred maintenance of national and multi-state NMLS licensing within the last 12 months.
