Retail Impact Store Project Manager – 75% US Travel

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Collaborate with the store planning department to confirm fixture placement and the inclusion of business services.

β€’ Supervise the procurement of store computer systems.

β€’ Coordinate the installation of systems.

β€’ Establish arrival dates for merchandising setup teams.

β€’ Offer guidance and direction to store setup coordinators concerning fixtures, merchandising, data, and telephone equipment.

β€’ Manage the delivery of store supplies in conjunction with external vendors.

β€’ Procure planogram books, price labels, and additional setup planograms.

β€’ Order material handling equipment and waste disposal services.

β€’ Oversee delivery and installation schedules with external vendors and the construction project manager for shelving and store fixtures.

β€’ Work in coordination with distribution center management regarding the delivery of sales-area and stockroom merchandise.

β€’ Ensure the safety of on-site workers during the setup phase and provide safe work training.

β€’ Deliver timely updates via the project management portal.

β€’ Generate and distribute end-of-job reports and as-built plans.

β€’ Supply the merchandising team with updated planogram information.

β€’ Confirm the completion of the final walk-through.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Willingness to travel 50% to 75% of the time.

β€’ Capability to excel in a fast-paced retail environment.

β€’ A minimum of 2 years of project management experience and experience in managing personnel.

β€’ Previous retail experience related to store setup, planograms, store fixtures, or construction projects is preferred.

β€’ A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

β€’ Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.

β€’ Experience with project management software is preferred.

β€’ Strong ability to lead through influence.

β€’ Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.

β€’ Familiarity with safety requirements is preferred.

β€’ Effective interaction with employees at all organizational levels.

β€’ Outstanding communication skills, both individually and in group settings.

β€’ A sense of urgency regarding deadlines and projects.

β€’ Creative problem-solving skills and effective time management abilities.
