This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee budgets, internal financial reporting, and profit & loss for designated projects and contracts.
• Create and manage schedules for contracts and projects, ensuring compliance with all requirements.
• Achieve positive CPARS ratings.
• Clearly communicate with clients and team members regarding assignments and contractual matters.
• Expand the restoration business line and provide mentorship to new staff members.
• Lead, plan, develop, and present technical and cost proposals.
• Assist in recognizing strategic opportunities and potential new client relationships.
• Build and sustain client relationships.
• Spearhead sales and marketing initiatives for assigned clients and market segments.
• Drive business development efforts, follow up on leads, explore contract opportunities, and optimize current and future prospects.
• Supervise and/or mentor Project Managers and staff responsible for daily operations.
• Develop, implement, and uphold safety and quality control programs for contracts and projects.
• Travel to various project and client locations as required.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental science, geology, civil, environmental, or chemical engineering, or a related discipline is mandatory.
• A Professional Geologist License is essential.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience, including project and program management for federal agencies.
• Professional certification/registration in a relevant field, such as Professional Geologist (PG), Professional Engineer (PE), Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or similar is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated capability to lead, manage, and develop multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment, balancing competing priorities and deadlines across various proposals/projects/programs.
• Willingness to travel to conferences, client locations, and project sites.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in editing, overseeing, and preparing high-quality technical reports with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to comprehend and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures presented in English.
• Capable of communicating in English regarding job assignments, procedures, and relevant safety standards.
• Competent in operating a motor vehicle.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
