Respiratory Services Clinician, RT/RN/LPN

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute daily compliance responsibilities, which involve reaching out to patients, arranging appointments with the Advanced Care Team, and conducting Sleep Glad or Telehealth sessions.

• Assess insurance compliance criteria with patients for NIV, PAP, and percussion vests.

• Provide education to patients regarding the usage and maintenance of PAP machines and supplies.

• Assist in PAP documentation and fulfill physician pressure change orders.

• Evaluate incoming NIV orders to ensure clinical suitability.

• Offer advice on NIV and percussion vest coverage policies and necessary documentation.

• Liaise with referral sources and insurance entities to gather documents, submit appeals, and facilitate approvals and authorizations.

• Inform patients about oxygen therapy, identify challenges to adherence, and aid in the O2 save process.

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to address and resolve patient care concerns.

• Stay updated on DASCO equipment and services.

• Process supply orders as per patient requests.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Manager.

• Must possess an active and unrestricted license as a Respiratory Therapist (RT), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
