This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
β’ Take ownership of the daily staffing operations within the designated business area, aligning personnel with projects, engagements, or initiatives based on their skills, availability, experience, and development requirements.
β’ Oversee incoming resource requests, encompassing request intake, prioritization, allocation, and confirmation.
β’ Keep a proactive outlook on demand, capacity, and skills, identifying risks and opportunities.
β’ Implement resourcing principles, decision-making rights, and utilization guidelines across both legacy and acquired organizations.
β’ Conduct regular resourcing meetings, look-ahead reviews, and pipeline discussions.
β’ Contribute to the Group resourcing cycle by providing insights on hot/cold spots, skill gaps, delivery risks, and redeployment opportunities.
β’ Escalate decisions, risks, and resource conflicts along with clear options and recommendations.
β’ Facilitate the integration of resourcing activities, processes, tools, skills taxonomies, and data standards from acquired entities.
β’ Ensure high-quality data is maintained in resourcing systems, including project staffing, allocations, availability, skills, and pipeline information.
β’ Utilize professional services automation, capacity, and CRM platforms such as Salesforce and Kantata.
β’ Generate regular resourcing reports that cover utilization, forward capacity, skills mix, time-to-staff, and external/independent usage.
β’ Provide evidence-based insights to assist with staffing, hiring, and development decisions.
β’ Oversee independent principals and freelancers, including onboarding, allocation, and offboarding processes.
β’ Foster relationships with Project, Account, and Functional Leaders, while collaborating with People/HR and Resourcing Manager colleagues.
β’ Aid in cross-area redeployment, workload balancing, and the sharing of best practices.
β’ Significant experience in resourcing, workforce planning, project operations, or a similar role within a complex, multi-practice or multi-jurisdictional service environment.
β’ Proven track record in managing a resourcing cadence and balancing demand, capacity, and capability for a specified business area.
β’ Familiarity with professional services automation, resource management, and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Kantata, or equivalent), with a history of effective daily use of these systems.
β’ Experience assisting with integration or harmonization efforts following acquisitions or organizational changes is preferred.
β’ Knowledge of the management consulting, pharmaceutical services, and/or broader life sciences sectors is advantageous.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to constructively advise and challenge senior business leaders.
β’ Strong analytical and numerical abilities, capable of interpreting resourcing data and converting it into actionable insights.
β’ A collaborative, solution-oriented mindset with high integrity and discretion when handling sensitive personnel-related information.
β’ Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and function effectively in a rapidly changing environment.
β’ Understanding of relevant compliance considerations regarding the engagement of independent contractors and freelancers.
