Resource Optimization Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Ensure real-time tracking of available personnel, client assignments, and capacity across various service lines.

• Anticipate resource requirements based on trends in volume, renewals, new clients, scheduled PTO, employee turnover, and client cycles.

• Allocate resources to clients according to their skill set, performance history, certification, access, and availability.

• Track utilization and productivity KPIs, including overtime as a percentage of total labor hours, to assist in meeting margin protection targets.

• Keep resource and skills information updated in QuickBase following standardized procedures.

• Contribute to a weekly workforce digest and a monthly workforce alignment report.

• Engage in weekly workforce operations reviews.

• Proactively identify staffing risks and coverage gaps.

• Collaborate with Client Success Managers and Staffing Success Managers to devise improvement plans.

• Aid in the development of a cross-service-line flex pool of resources available for deployment across engagements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare operations, resource planning, resource management, or a related field.

• Strong analytical skills, particularly in resource forecasting and performance modeling.

• Familiarity with QuickBase or similar resource and planning tools.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions.

• Capability to assess risks and promote proactive, data-driven decision-making.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including 365, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Preferred: Experience in Coding, CDI, or revenue cycle operations.

• Preferred: Understanding of healthcare staffing models and terminology.

• Preferred: Experience in creating dashboards or reports; knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
