Resilience Product Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the external adoption of the Climate Bonds Resilience Taxonomy and its resilience component.

• Ensure that resilience tools are practical, user-friendly, and compatible with stakeholder approaches.

• Provide ad hoc technical advisory and consultancy services related to resilience, particularly for financial institutions.

• Develop and promote the uptake of resilience products externally.

• Clarify and standardize the resilience product offerings for commercial teams.

• Collaborate with regional, investor, and other Climate Bonds teams to facilitate strategic engagement with large-scale investors.

• Assist a Certification Task Force in addressing inquiries about the application of the resilience taxonomy.

• Advocate for resilience products through strategic initiatives, advisory groups, and external events.

• Build and nurture relationships with financial institutions, investors, governments, and multilateral organizations.

• Identify and enhance CBRT use cases through market engagement.

• Create feedback mechanisms for taxonomy and use-case development, including collaboration with the Data Team.

• Lead and oversee the evolution of CBRT to meet user requirements and adapt to AI-driven advancements.

• Assist in the development of new resilience products.

• Define and execute advisory, capacity-building, and external engagement initiatives.

• Contribute to fundraising efforts and strategic partnerships aimed at promoting resilience taxonomy adoption.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• Experience in finance or closely associated with financial institutions.

• Proven experience in external engagement to drive the adoption of knowledge products or services.

• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities, particularly in sustainable finance.

• Exceptional engagement and relationship management skills, with a successful track record of working with diverse stakeholder groups.

• Good understanding of sustainable finance concepts.

• Excellent public speaking and presentation capabilities.

• Demonstrated experience in independently delivering projects.

• Capability to manage complex projects involving multiple partners.

• Proficiency in both verbal and written English.

• An advanced degree in a related field is preferred.

• Experience in taxonomy or standards development is a plus.

• Familiarity with Adaptation and Resilience is advantageous.

• Experience in emerging markets is a benefit.

• Proficiency in facilitating communication between product development teams and those utilizing or marketing the product is desirable.
