This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee the affiliate physician residency programs and assist with various medical training and educational initiatives.
• Serve as the primary contact for affiliate physician residencies and medical training programs.
• Support the DAP Health Clinic Manager in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Implement ACGME guidelines, along with other national accrediting bodies and DAP policies to ensure compliance.
• Provide assistance to program administrative leadership and teaching faculty.
• Ensure the completion of resident quality improvement projects.
• Align resident schedules with clinic operations, focusing on productivity and coverage.
• Identify staffing shortages and obtain provider coverage as needed.
• Open or block medical provider schedules as required.
• Facilitate communication between academic affairs and operational teams.
• Identify preceptors, coordinate contract modifications, and communicate elective schedules.
• Monitor preceptor shifts and ensure payment is processed in accordance with agreements.
• Assist with provider data management and reporting in Power BI.
• Organize resident orientation, covering clinic layout, policies, safety/security protocols, and EHR training.
• Provide administrative support to residents and act as a liaison with sponsoring institution administration.
• Manage the assignment of DAP Health patients to residents.
• Oversee resident evaluations and maintain thorough and accurate records.
• Ensure compliance of resident files prior to the program's commencement.
• Process invoices for reimbursement from affiliated institutions.
• Hold regular meetings with the Provider Services Manager regarding office management, activities, and project updates.
• Engage in institutional, departmental, community, or national meetings for ongoing professional development.
• Assist with Medical Staff Office operations and cross-train to provide support as needed.
• Execute other assigned duties.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred in business administration, organizational development, education, or a related field, or a minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, ideally within a healthcare and/or educational environment.
• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Capability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Competence in computer usage and internet navigation.
• Ability to make independent decisions.
• Available for all shifts and, when necessary, able to work evenings and weekends.
