This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +1 more state.
• Accurately and promptly prepare loan documentation for transactions secured by commercial real estate, which involves reviewing collateral and drafting security agreements.
• Provide support for Home Builder, Income Property, and Affordable Housing lending by facilitating the closing and administration of both construction and permanent loans.
• Evaluate appraisals and pre-construction assessments for new construction and development loans.
• Confirm evidence of prepaid construction expenses before the closing process.
• Collect invoices, fees, and escrow settlement details to create funding statements and manage loan disbursements.
• Collaborate with title companies, escrow officers, and insurance agents to procure and review title policies, balance settlement statements, and ensure insurance coverage is verified.
• Supervise loan files and ensure that documentation, reporting, statements, and accounting information are complete and accurate.
• Assist in the establishment and maintenance of lien perfection on collateral.
• Support loan extensions, modifications, and standard closing procedures.
• Offer guidance, training, and mentorship to newer team members.
• Ensure adherence to bank policies, procedures, security protocols, and relevant government regulations.
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Auditing, Banking, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field (Required).
• At least 2 years of experience in closing or funding commercial real estate secured loans (Required).
• A solid understanding of the commercial real estate loan closing processes and documentation requirements (Required).
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be acceptable in place of a bachelor's degree.
• Advanced knowledge of commercial real estate loan closing practices, documentation, and associated systems.
• Capability to handle multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Strong problem-solving, research, decision-making, and customer service abilities.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to real estate loan closing and funding.
• General understanding of the mortgage and commercial real estate lending sector.
