This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Take ownership and enhance research membership revenue through acquiring new members, exploring expansion opportunities, providing renewal support, managing pipelines, forecasting, and identifying risks.
• Establish trustworthy relationships with senior decision-makers at potential asset management and asset owner organizations.
• Facilitate consultative sales discussions that link member challenges to research, events, analyst access, and peer networks.
• Act as the main point of contact for regional members while implementing account engagement strategies and service plans.
• Lead customized onboarding processes and connect members with pertinent research, roundtables, webinars, and events.
• Conduct executive business reviews and implement retention strategies.
• Relay regional market insights and emerging client needs to research and leadership teams.
• Work collaboratively with Client Success, Research Sales, Research, Consulting, and Marketing teams.
• Monitor engagement data, portfolio health, renewal performance, and client satisfaction.
• Contribute to internal best practices and foster a collaborative, transparent, client-focused company culture.
• 5–7 years of experience in sales, business development, client success, relationship or account management, managed services, or a similar commercial role within financial services, investment management, or enterprise technology sectors.
• Profound understanding of the buy-side investment ecosystem and the operating models of asset managers and asset owners.
• Established credibility across front-, middle-, and back-office functions, including technology, operations, data, risk, compliance, reporting, and performance.
• Demonstrated ability to sell and support intangible, trust-based offerings such as research, advisory services, subscriptions, platforms, or managed services.
• Experience in disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, opportunity qualification, and proactive risk communication.
• Strong executive presence coupled with exceptional communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence in engaging C-suite leaders, senior executives, and functional decision-makers.
• Capability to lead client forums, roundtables, and executive discussions.
• Excellent networking skills and comfort in facilitating peer connections across member organizations.
• Sound judgment, ownership, transparency, proactive problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to influence stakeholders.
• Proficient in CRM, marketing automation, and client engagement platforms.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Travel will be event-driven and as necessary to cultivate and maintain relationships with prospects and members.
• Preferred: experience with asset managers, asset owners, public pension funds, insurance companies, or investment technology organizations.
• Preferred: familiarity with investment management systems and workflows.
• Knowledge of Aladdin by BlackRock, State Street Alpha, SimCorp One, or Rimes Matrix is a plus.
