Research & Innovation Engineer – NTN

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Conduct research on NTN-specific wireless algorithms and methodologies, such as regenerative payload, Doppler compensation, and DU/CU handover processes for 5G/6G RAN architectures.

• Collaborate with satellite systems and their integration into terrestrial networks.

• Monitor and evaluate pertinent industry standards related to NTN.

• Design and simulate NTN scenarios to assess performance and identify potential challenges.

• Partner with both internal and external stakeholders on NTN-focused initiatives.

• Explore NTN applications in specialized systems, including tactical communications, FRMCS, and mission-critical operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, or Telecommunication Engineering.

• Strong expertise in 5G/6G networks.

• Solid understanding of satellite systems and applicable 3GPP standards.

• Experience with NTN simulation tools.

• Proficient in English.

• Familiarity with specialized communication systems, such as tactical communications, FRMCS, and MCX solutions (preferred).
