Research Engineer III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee intricate research projects from initiation to completion.

• Create and implement cutting-edge research methodologies, experimental designs, and testing strategies.

• Conduct experiments, gather data, and analyze results utilizing advanced tools and techniques.

• Interpret research outcomes and formulate conclusions that support new technologies, products, or processes.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to incorporate research findings into applicable solutions.

• Assist in the design and assembly of prototypes or experimental setups.

• Execute tests and measurements to assess the performance of prototypes or experimental systems.

• Diligently document experimental methods, results, and observations.

• Address technical challenges and offer research-based solutions.

• Remain updated on advancements by engaging in literature reviews, conferences, seminars, and networking.

• Mentor and provide technical support to junior research engineers.

• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and publications to communicate research findings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold the appropriate certifications required for this position as specified by the contract.

• Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining the necessary customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment, and property.

• A Master's degree coupled with four to seven (4-7) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to lead and manage complex research projects effectively.

• Knowledge of research methodologies, experimental designs, and testing strategies.

• Proficient in conducting experiments, collecting data, and analyzing results using advanced tools and techniques.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Capable of designing and constructing prototypes or experimental setups.

• Skilled in performing tests and measurements.

• Expertise in troubleshooting technical issues and proposing effective solutions.

• Competent in preparing technical reports, presentations, and publications.
