Research Engineer – Machine Learning, Medical Imaging

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design and assess machine learning solutions tailored for medical imaging applications.

• Engage in customer projects by comprehending and addressing their technical and clinical needs.

• Convert research concepts and prototypes into resilient, reusable, and well-designed software solutions.

• Operate throughout the entire machine learning workflow, encompassing data preparation, model development, validation, and integration.

• Convey results and technical ideas effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD (or MSc with relevant industry experience) in a related domain, along with a strong enthusiasm for software engineering.

• Proficient machine learning capabilities and a thorough understanding of the complete machine learning workflow.

• Experience with medical imaging data and its applications.

• Strong programming proficiency in Python.

• A motivated, proactive team player with a solution-oriented approach.

• Excellent communication skills and a desire to collaborate with clients.

• Very good proficiency in English.

• Experience in translating research prototypes into dependable software.

• Background in customer-facing or interdisciplinary projects.

• Familiarity with or eagerness to learn C++.
