This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Establish enduring relationships with scientific and managerial stakeholders across strategic account R&D sites.
• Monitor molecule programs, discovery initiatives, R&D process decisions, program statuses, site footprints, and forthcoming decision points.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities for early-stage technology seeding.
• Convert R&D process requirements and discovery-stage needs into defined use cases.
• Align technical experts from the Business Unit to assist with validation activities.
• Propel technology validation through process and product trials, encompassing scale-up, scale-down, and manufacturing-sensitive validation activities.
• Record outcomes and readiness indicators that support progression toward pilot, clinical, or manufacturing adoption.
• Aid in Phase I–III process and product trials through process optimization, validation, and readiness for manufacturing.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Tech Transfer, and CMO partners.
• Observe process landscapes, new processes, transfers, modalities, footprint changes, risks, and business implications.
• Carry out structured handovers of validated programs to commercial teams, including stakeholder maps, process context, validation evidence, and recommended next steps.
• Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• Over 3 years of experience in customer-facing roles within biopharma environments, such as process development support, technical sales, applications, or scientific support.
• Strong familiarity with R&D environments.
• Capability to operate credibly within highly scientific settings and translate early-stage R&D needs into structured validation and technology adoption pathways.
• Proficient in communicating confidently with a diverse range of senior decision-makers.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Technical Sales teams to develop complex customer solutions.
• Experience in managing stakeholders across customer R&D networks and cross-functional internal organizations.
• Proficient in utilizing CRM systems, including SFDC.
• Disciplined in documentation practices for pipeline management, customer process tracking, validation evidence, and decision-point management.
• Willingness to travel more than 50%.
