Requirement Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Lead the requirements engineering process throughout the complete software lifecycle, from concept to production deployment.

• Gather, analyze, and synchronize business requirements with stakeholders and domain experts.

• Convert business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and comprehensive functional specifications.

• Assist the Product Owner in refining and prioritizing the backlog.

• Work closely with developers to ensure a mutual understanding of requirements and business objectives.

• Evaluate the impact of functional and technical modifications on existing processes and systems.

• Assist in testing activities, defect analysis, and business acceptance processes.

• Maintain clear and consistent documentation of requirements and solution artifacts.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Requirements Engineer, Business Analyst, or System Analyst.

• Background in the banking or financial services sector.

• Demonstrated success in analyzing and specifying requirements for complex software solutions.

• Extensive experience in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.

• Strong SQL knowledge and comprehension of data models, APIs, and system integrations.

• Technical insight into end-to-end processes and distributed system landscapes.

• Experience in agile software development environments (Scrum).

• Proficient in German and good English communication skills, both written and spoken.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Senior-level professional with a high level of independence and the capacity to become productive quickly.

• Experience with lending, loan origination, or online financing platforms.

• Understanding of loan application, credit assessment, credit decisioning, or loan servicing processes.

• Experience with Camunda or similar process modeling tools.

• Background in software testing, business acceptance testing, and defect analysis.

• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.

• Experience working in distributed or international teams.
