Performance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Act as the lead technical project developer for the Public Sector East team.

• Comprehend customers’ technical requirements and transform them into precise, actionable solutions.

• Conduct thorough site assessments to pinpoint mechanical and operational inefficiencies.

• Evaluate utility bills and financial data.

• Collaborate with contractors to deliver innovative, cost-effective, and technically sound solutions.

• Develop comprehensive written and schematic technical plans that communicate solutions and associated risks.

• Execute energy savings calculations, operational savings assessments, life cycle cost analysis, and feasibility studies.

• Provide energy assessments and determine guaranteed savings for proposed measures.

• Construct financial models based on customer specifications and project outcomes.

• Work alongside Account Executives and Project Managers to formulate and present customer proposals.

• Partner with Project Managers to ensure seamless installations and relay technical information between operations and sales.

• Identify and collaborate with subcontractors and consultants on technical evaluations, installation descriptions, and quality assurance measures.

• Validate equipment before ordering to guarantee accurate estimates and timely delivery.

• Develop metrics to confirm energy and operational guarantees.

• Formulate and execute strategies in open protocol scenarios.

• Stay updated with advancements in technology, regional regulations, and energy and facility operations.

• Act as a continuous technical resource consultant for customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited Engineering/Technology program or equivalent.

• Three (3) to eight (8) years’ experience in a construction or energy service-related field.

• Frequent travel is necessary, approximately 25%-50%, including overnight stays.

• Must be able to work independently and be adequately self-directed.

• Bonus: Ten (10) years’ experience in a construction or energy service-related field.

• Bonus certifications: CEM, CMVP, any LEED Certification, NEBB TAB, any ASHRAE Certification, Professional License (PE), NCESS Record.
