Reporting Services Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Generate high-quality reports utilizing SSRS, Power BI, and the in-house Report Designer.

• Offer guidance, training, and support to both new and existing iSAMS and Ed:gen clients.

• Create and deliver customized, catalog/template, and built-in reports punctually.

• Adhere to deadlines and fulfill all requirements effectively.

• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the Service Desk logging system, including detailed notes on calls.

• Work collaboratively with current Report Developers.

• Craft visually appealing reports through SSRS and Power BI.

• Provide solutions while maintaining a high standard of service.

• Utilize remote access technology, knowledge resources, and diagnostic tools to resolve or redirect tickets.

• Recognize recurring incidents or requests and raise awareness accordingly.

• Assist with both technical and non-technical “How To” inquiries.

• Maintain technical documentation for support forums and internal records.

• Engage in projects aimed at enhancing report quality and service efficiency.

• Review existing procedures and suggest improvements.

• Stay updated on iSAMS/Ed:gen products and system developments.

• Participate in in-person events, including team meetings.

• Proficiency with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

• Experience with Power BI.

• Familiarity with the in-house Report Designer.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Skilled in diagnosing, investigating, and resolving issues.

• Strong analytical capabilities.

• Outstanding organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively as a proactive team member.

• Experience with T-SQL.

• Willingness to work UK Business Hours (2.00 PM - 11.00 PM IST).
