📋 Description

• Regularly propose innovative and engaging story ideas.

• Cultivate sources to unveil news and create exclusive content.

• Write with clarity and adhere to deadlines.

• Collaborate with team members across the department and the broader newsroom to brainstorm story concepts and identify the most effective storytelling methods.

• Partner with reporters in various bureaus nationwide on business, political, and national news coverage.

• Explore storytelling approaches beyond conventional formats.

• Engage in Globe subscriber events.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience in reporting for a news organization.

• Passion and experience in covering politics and business.

• A knack for narrating stories from Saskatchewan that resonate well beyond its borders.

• Exceptional writing ability with a diverse range, spanning from hard news to human-interest features and explanatory pieces.

• Strong news judgment demonstrated by a history of enterprise reporting.

• Proficient in working across multiple formats, including live blogs, newsletters, video, and audio.

• Must be based in Regina.

• Willingness to travel frequently for assignments.

• Submission of a cover letter with three links to prior work along with a resume authored by the candidate, not generated by AI.
