This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take full ownership of the replenishment process for designated Bike categories, which includes generating and placing purchase orders for core and never-out-of-stock SKUs.
• Utilize forecasted demand, current inventory, order quantities, and vendor lead times to determine what to reorder, in what quantities, and the timing for reorders.
• Enhance replenishment efficiency across multiple vendor supply chains by considering availability, lead times, and profitability.
• Establish and uphold reorder points, minimum/maximum levels, safety stock, order multiples, and review cycles for each SKU and vendor.
• Keep track of in-stock rates, weeks of supply, inventory turnover, sales performance, and vendor fill rates.
• Take proactive measures against stockout risks and overstock situations.
• Execute weekly exception reporting for out-of-stocks, delayed purchase orders, and surplus inventory, providing recommendations to merchants and planners.
• Collaborate with vendors to verify availability, expedite late shipments, resolve short shipments, and enhance lead time and fill rate performance.
• Enhance replenishment tools, reporting, and automation processes to minimize manual tasks and accelerate decision-making.
• Work in partnership with merchants, planners, vendors, and the distribution center.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in replenishment, inventory planning, allocation, or supply chain analytics, preferably in retail or e-commerce.
• Proficient in Excel, including skills in pivot tables, lookups, and constructing models from extensive data sets.
• Fundamental understanding of in-stock rates, weeks of supply, inventory turnover, sales performance, safety stock, and reorder point logic.
• Proven ability to leverage AI technologies to enhance the quality of work in everyday responsibilities.
• Experience in creating and managing purchase orders with vendors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating inventory recommendations to merchants and vendors.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• In-person interview required prior to offer issuance.
• Employment is contingent upon a background check, which includes verification of previous employment dates.
• Preferred: hands-on experience with a replenishment or demand forecasting system.
• Preferred: SQL experience, with a preference for BigQuery.
• Preferred: familiarity with Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Preferred: experience in automating recurring reports or workflows using Python, macros, or AI tools.
